You are so incredible. Your explanation, your teaching is very powerful. I encountered your channel when I started to feel unconfident and desperate about my English. Watching your videos gives me motivation to continue to learn this language. I stopped to care about my level, I just enjoy the communication in English, about where I am now in this learning journey. Thank you giving me this inspiration.

Mate, did you know that you are doing a great favor to mankind? With more people like you the world might be a better place to live in. You just spoke my mind as you uttered the truth about the context and more that one right answer. I never found anybody agree with me as the 'Cambridge' authority or the likes dictate the realm of English language learning with illogical arrogant iron fists. God bless, brother. - An unpopular teacher from Bangladesh.

You don't need more English. You need more practice. This hit me hard. Thank you! I've been struggling trying so hard to learn more vocabularies, english idioms, etc. Yet i remained poor in speaking English. Now I'd focus on practicing more on speaking rather than focus on learning more and more English. ❤

I definitely learned english mostly through being exposed to it. Creating 'elegant' output in that language comes later. You need to be exposed to it. First I learned a little of it through traditional methods in the classroom. But I had little knowledge of it. This built a little sense of the language but I could not speak it, I didn't understand when people talked and I understood 35% of what I read after 6 years of classes Then went to university. First semester was shock to me because I had to read in English. I suffered. But I went through. I read and read and read. I could read anything now. Then started watching shows. After a year, I was able to understand what they talked During this time I didn't do anything a regular language learning class would have me to. I did very little output related activities. I moved to US. I was able to speak English. Of course I got better over time as I was exposed to only English. Years later I moved to Poland. I tool 100 hours of classes. What do I have to show for it? Nothing. I am not even A1. I was forced to talk, write. Nothing. Zero. I begged for simple texts to read. Nothing was given. I myself lost interest in the endavor I call any language teaching class that forces its students to speak before they are not even A2 bs. At least for majority. There is no other product I see that is less useful than most language classes. Learning about a language is not the same as learning it. It is like reading about the bike, learning how to fix it vs riding it. Completely two different things. I know all about polish grammar, memorized 800 words according to my Anki cards. But I don't know anything on the language. I am so embarrassed for it.

Totally agree. But anyway still I have moments when I can’t understand anything. For example I watched a lot LTT and no matter how long I did it I couldn’t understand almost anything. That’s insane! Because when I’m watching videos from California I always can get almost 100%. I know that’s another topic but I’m just pissed of this! 😂
